Our Impact In 2025

Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) is a leading nonprofit NGO in Pakistan committed to empowering rural communities and promoting sustainable development across underprivileged regions of Sindh. Since 2007, FRDP has been driving impact through integrated programs focused on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), food security, livelihood enhancement, and nutrition support.

Registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860, FRDP specializes in emergency response, disaster risk reduction, education and awareness, women and youth empowerment, climate change adaptation, and good governance. Our community-based approach ensures long-term impact by engaging local stakeholders and fostering self-reliance.

Who We Are?

Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) is a not for profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) in Pakistan, working directly with communities, state authorities, aid organizations and civil society to uplift the lives of underprivileged people in rural and semi urban areas of Pakistan, since the year 2007. Registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860 in Sindh, Pakistan, FRDP envisions ‘Resilient and inclusive communities in Pakistan, having dignified access to adequate food, nutrition, clean water, sanitation, hygiene services and decent employment’. Through its holistic approach, FRDP ensures that communities are resilient and capable of shaping their future, contributing to the overall humanitarian aid efforts in Pakistan.

Mission

Become a resource organization to improve quality of life of empower socially and climatically vulnerable communities, in semi-urban and rural areas of Pakistan, through integrated development programs in WASH, food security, nutrition, health, education, income generation, and disaster risk reduction.

Geographic Focus Provinces / Districts

CareWave Foundation is committed to creating lasting change by reaching underserved communities across Pakistan. Through healthcare, education, emergency relief, clean water initiatives, and community development programs, we work hand in hand with local partners to improve lives and build a brighter future for every family.

Objectives

Improve access of vulnerable and climate affected people to resilient WASH facilities in rural, semi urban and slum areas to improve their health status.

Improve the food security and nutritional status of pregnant, lactating women and children in rural and urban slum areas through data-backed decision making, community- driven, sustainable and climate smart initiatives that address both short-term and long- term needs

Making communities resilient to climate change effects and enable them to better cope with natural and manmade disasters.

Promote quality education with the latest handy tools and ICT in public and private schools, with a focus on serving the poorest communities and developing all- encompassing character-building and morality.

Strengthen the livelihoods of communities to reduce poverty and increase socio- economic self-sufficiency.

Promote human rights, particularly for children, women, laborers, people with disabilities, and indigenous communities, to empower them socially, politically, and economically.

Mainstreaming slum communities into local-level planning and development initiatives in urban cities of Pakistan collaboratively, to improve their quality of life and access to social services.

To strengthen FRDP’s institutional capacity as a leading technical institution in Sindh, specializing in urban and rural Food and Nutrition Security (FNS), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs, policy alignment, and capacity-building through targeted training.
