Refund Policy

Care Wave Foundation is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in the handling of donations and financial contributions. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which a donation may be eligible for a refund.

1. Donation Refund Requests

If you believe that a donation was made in error, was duplicated, or was processed incorrectly, please contact Care Wave Foundation within 3 days of the donation date to request a refund.

Refund requests submitted more than 3 days after the original donation date may not be eligible for a refund, except where the transaction was unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise subject to applicable legal or payment-provider requirements.

All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

2. Non-Refundable Charges

Any applicable payment processing, banking, transaction, handling, or delivery charges associated with a donation may be non-refundable.

The amount refunded may therefore differ from the original amount charged where such third-party charges have already been incurred.

3. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, Care Wave Foundation will process the refund using the original payment method, where reasonably possible.

Once processed, the refund may take up to 5 business days or longer to appear in your bank account, card statement, or payment account, depending on the relevant bank or payment service provider.

Care Wave Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, card networks, or other third-party financial institutions.

4. Donations Made Through Third Parties

This Refund Policy applies only to donations made directly through Care Wave Foundation’s official digital payment channels or accounts.

If you make a donation through a third-party platform, fundraising website, payment service, event organizer, or another organization, any refund request must generally be submitted to that third party.

Such donations will be subject to the refund, cancellation, and payment policies of the respective third-party platform or organization.

5. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe that an unauthorized or fraudulent donation has been made using your payment method, please contact Care Wave Foundation immediately.

You may also need to contact your bank, card issuer, or payment service provider to report the transaction and follow their applicable fraud or dispute procedures.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a donation refund or report an incorrect or unauthorized transaction, please contact our support team with the following information where available:
